Buccaneers will likely have to win three street games in January to play the Super Bowl at their stadium, but coach Bruce Arians says it is possible.
Arians later pointed out that the Buccaneers got a wild card spot on Saturday in Detroit that he was the coach of the Steelers’ wide receivers in 2005, when they won the Super Bowl as the last team in the playoffs.
“Anything can happen,” said Arians. “I was a 6 seed, I went to the Super Bowl and I won right here in this stadium, so anything is possible. Now that we’re in the dance, we have to see what the next week will bring us and where we’re going. “
The Bucs will be the 5 or 6 in the NFC this season, and reaching the Super Bowl would likely require an away win against three NFC division winners. Arians thinks his team is up to the task.
