Browns training team player, positive coach test for COVID-19; Closed installation and tracking in progress

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Another Browns player and employee tested positive for COVID-19 today and the facility is closed while contact tracking is in progress. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed today that the player is on the training team and that the team member is a coach.

That makes a total of 10 players on the COVID-19 reserve list, but up to seven could be back in time for Sunday’s “win and win” game against the Steelers.

Linebacker BJ Goodson tested positive, and Andrew Sendejo’s safety could be positive. The seven close contacts are Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones, KhaDarel Hodge, Jacob Phillips, Harrison Bryant and Karl Joseph.
