Browns-Steelers game is still in progress on Sunday despite Cleveland’s positive COVID-19 tests

The Cleveland Browns continue to deal with COVID-19 issues.

Browns Security Ronnie Harrison tested positive for COVID-19, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported Thursday, by an informed source on the situation.

Harrison is the latest holder of Sunday’s playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Training squad LB Montrel Meander joins Harrison on the reserve / COVID-19 list.

Despite problems with the COVID-19 in Cleveland, including coach Kevin Stefanski absent from the playoff game, the fight against the Browns-Steelers remains on schedule to be played on Sunday night, Pelissero said.

Contact tracking is in progress and will dictate the steps to follow, as well as ongoing testing in the coming days.

As good news, Cleveland returned to holder Andrew Sendejo for Sunday. Security has been activated on the reserve list / COVID-19.
