The Browns announced on Thursday that they had dismissed cornerback Robert Jackson.
Jackson, 27, played 10 games for the Browns last season, mostly on special teams. He made six tackles, no interception and a pass separation. He saw action in just six defensive clicks.
Jackson injured his hamstring while playing 76 crackles in the wild-card playoff victory over the Steelers and went on to the reserve by injury.
He played six games for the Browns in 2019.
The 16 games played over the past two seasons – plus a playoff game – represent the only action in Jackson’s career.
He joined the league in 2018 with the Colts and spent time on the Texans training team that season.
