Brothers Isley and Earth, Wind & Fire perform in Verzuz

Verzuz celebrated Easter Sunday with a setback night, bringing together the Isley Brothers, pioneers of rock, funk and soul, with the disco and funk icons of Earth, Wind & Fire. Steve Harvey introduced the confrontation, bringing a very of their own backlash stories about the successes of the groups. And about these hits – the Isleys played six decades of music, from “Shout” from 1959 to “Contagious” from 2003, while Earth, Wind & Fire not only played their hits like “September” and “Let’s Groove”, but songs from Deniece Williams and Phil Collins, who featured members of the group. The Isleys closed the night bringing its talents to the 2020s, launching the new song “Friends and Family” with others Verzuz alum Snoop Dogg. If the Verzuz the battle alone did not convince you, they still did.
