That was quick.

Moments after Bears officially cut cornerback Kyle Fuller, he agreed to a contract with the Broncos.

Tom Pelissero, of the NFL Network, reports that it is a $ 9.5 million contract for a year, including $ 9 million fully guaranteed.

The Broncos have always been seen as the favorites to sign Fuller, given their close connection with Denver coach Vic Fangio, who was previously the defensive coordinator in Chicago. Still, it is a surprise that the deal came so quickly.

Fuller was scheduled to earn $ 14 million if he had stayed with the Bears this year, so he is accepting a significant cut in pay, but is in a place where he knows he is wanted, with a coach who knows how to get the best out of him.
