Britney Spears thought to speak openly, Oprah Winfrey would be ‘probably your first choice’: report

Britney Spears may be preparing to tell her version of the story, according to a new report.

The 39-year-old pop icon has been in the headlines for months, as the drama over her guardianship has intensified.

Part of the renewed interest in her situation is due to the release of the documentary “Freeing Britney Spears”, which examines the singer’s treatment of “Toxic” by the media and other public figures.

A source recently told Entertainment Tonight that Spears saw support from the public, which came not only from fans, but also from celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus and more.

“The release of the documentary inspired a manifestation of more love than ever,” added the source. “Although she has been unable to make changes to her guardianship, she has received millions of messages from fans on social media and feels much more understood.”

And according to the channel’s source, Spears thought about engaging in some kind of interview.

“Britney considered talking about her past, mainly because she thinks others shouldn’t tell her story,” explained the source. “She always hated giving interviews, but if she takes that step, Oprah [Winfrey] it would probably be your first choice. “

The source added: “At this point, there is no plan in place for her to do an interview, but when she does, there will be steps that Britney will need to take before speaking.

The singer and her father, Jamie, recently struggled in court to decide who should oversee her guardianship. Jamie expects him to remain in office, while Spears’ lawyer revealed in court on Wednesday that he plans to file a petition to make the current “care manager” for the singer and temporary conservative, Jodi Montgomery, a permanent.

Spears’ father, Jamie, stepped down as the star’s personal conservator in 2019 due to ill health and a professional conservative – Montgomery – temporarily replaced him.
