Brian Eno, Beach House, Santigold will be showing the Omega Mart

Brian Eno, Beach House and Santigold are among the musical artists who contribute to the next Omega Mart exhibition in Las Vegas, such as Brooklyn Vegan reports. Produced by the arts and entertainment group Meow Wolf, from Santa Fe, the permanent exhibition will open at the AREA15 experiential complex on February 18.

The supermarket-themed exhibition is described as “an extraordinary supermarket” where visitors to the interactive and engaging art exhibition can “discover portals that lead to surreal worlds filled with unexpected landscapes full of art to play with.”

Musical artists, who also include Amon Tobin, Pleasure Corporation and El Búho, created scores for the show’s soundtrack areas. In a video for Omega Mart, an idiot Willie Nelson makes a mind-boggling visit to the crazy supermarket, where troubled people and products are transformed.

According to a note, the show will feature around 250 projects by more than 325 creators, including local and international artists. It will house four anchor spaces with “60 additional exclusive environments, such as rooms full of facilities, land and portals to other worlds”.
