Bills’ offensive coordinator Brian Daboll may be the next Chargers coach.
Daboll has already emerged as the favorite of the Chargers, vague, according to reports from both Orange County Register and ESPN.
Chargers cannot officially hire Daboll until the Bills postseason is over, and Chargers general manager Tom Telesco may have hinted at his interest in Daboll when he said the team would be patient to find the right coach.
Telesco and Daboll went to high school together, so they have a long history together.
If Daboll becomes the Chargers’ head coach, he will move to a place where the franchise’s quarterback is in place of Justin Herbert. And the Chargers hope Daboll will have the same success with Herbert as he did with Josh Allen in Buffalo.
