Breath of the Wild Player makes a new discovery four years later

ONE Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild player made a substantial discovery nearly four years after the game was released for the Nintendo Switch. While Breath of the Wild is not getting any younger, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite players keep playing before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, which is being released later this year. That said, this new discovery does not come in the way of exploring the game world or testing different game mechanics, but was born out of the game’s code.

In addition to digging up a shrine that has never been launched, YouTuber Waikuteru has unearthed a debug room, which in turn revealed some interesting insights into the game’s development. To recreate the in-game debug room, the modder had to merge the pre-existing code with several mods, and the result is the video below.

Dubbed “MarioClubTestDungeon”, the debug room is not the biggest revelation, but it is a testament to the game that continues to dig in search of new secrets and content. Unfortunately, he is no longer in the proper game, which means that you, us and the average joe cannot access it at all.

Unfortunately, now, this is the most exciting thing that is happening Zelda players, but that should change soon. It’s not just Breath of the Wild 2 arriving sooner or later, but it looks like Nintendo may be preparing to bring the classic Zelda games for Switch and Switch Lite for the series’ 35th anniversary this year.

At this point, Nintendo commented on this debugging video and what it reveals in any character. If for any reason this changes – it almost certainly will not change – we will be sure to update the story accordingly.
