Greek President Sakellaropoulou and Prime Minister Mitsotakis were vaccinated against COVID19. Chief epidemiologist Sotiris Tsiodras was also present, who also received the vaccine administered at the Attikon hospital.
Greek PM Mitsotakis is the third person in Greece to receive the corona vaccine.
The first Greek to be vaccinated was Efstathia Kambissiouli, chief nurse of the intensive care units at the Evangelismos hospital in Athens. “In my person, all health professionals are being honored and (this) is a recognition of our work and our contribution. I hope that a new page will be activated today, but we have a long way to go, we must adhere to the measures and fulfill our goal and when we are all vaccinated we can have our lives back ”, she said.
