Only true Taco Bell connoisseurs know that So! A lot of! More! to the menu than what you see. Even if you think you had all on the Taco Bell menu, the “secret menu” is one thing and totally here to update your Doritos Locos tacos. (Seriously. More on that below.)
From mixing sauces to exchanging proteins, Taco Bell has many extra options that you can try – you just need to know how to order them. And that’s where I come in, my friend.
We used Instagram, Google and Taco Bell Reddit topics to reveal this top secret Taco Bell menu. What we found: fourteen items you should order, like, now. Run, don’t walk, to the nearest T Bell.
1. The Double Cheesy Gordita Crunch
Most, if not all, locations include Cheesy Gordita Crunch on their regular menu. You know it as the hard meat taco with a soft tortilla and add a little extra melted cheese in the middle. But if you really want to increase cheese and meat, the Double Cheesy Gordita Crunch is also available at select locations.
2. The Superman
Superman is the real hero of Taco Bell’s secret menu. Take all the goodness of a Cheesy Double Beef Burrito … and fold it. You will have more meat, more cheese, more rice – do I need to continue?
3. Order your favorites (like Doritos Locos Tacos) “Spicy Green”
This little hack will give literally anything on the menu an extra touch of flavor. Of course, you can always take a bunch of mysterious green packages home for you, but it’s not the same. The movement: ask them to sprinkle with spicy ingredients on all their food and you will not regret it. All you have to say is “spicy green”.
4. Waffle Taco
The Bell’s breakfast mix is, well, just what you can imagine – a waffle taco shell stuffed with scrambled eggs and sausage. Even as a secret item, Waffle Taco is not available in all locations, but you can also ask why waffle. And taco. Duh.
5. Double Grilled Quesadilla
Ask for your dilla and ask to be grilled twice to obtain the maximum crispiness in the tortilla. Genius, bb.
6. Cheesarito
It may not seem like much, but the Cheesarito is unreal discreet. It is a soft taco shell filled with melted cheese, chives and taco sauce. Nothing to complain about here.
7. Cheese burrito with pepper
A classic 90s Bell hit, the Chili Cheese Burrito (also known as Chilito) is still so loved that many locals have brought it back to DL. And yes, it’s a pepper-filled burrito. And cheese.
8. Enchirito
Improve a good thing (hi, enchiladas) by ordering a stuffed with cheese, beans and meat. It is as if enchilada finds a burrito. Take it?
9. Dorito Shell Tacos
Dorito’s shells exist for a reason, to be devoured after dawn. Why limit them to a handful of official menu items? Hack your standard Taco Bell order, ordering literally anything in a Dorito shell.
10. Lava sauce
This spicy cheese sauce is available in most places, although you have to ask for special. If they say there’s nothing left, mix a side of nacho cheese with two or three packages of fire sauce. Sky.
11. The Incredible Hulk Burrito
Order a five-layer burrito (yes, five) and ask to substitute guacamole for nacho cheese. Unreal.
12. Fresh Style
If you order their fresh style grub, they will take out the cheese, sour cream, guacamole and any mayonnaise-based sauces. They will also trade in pico de gallo.
