After declaring herself a lesbian and revealing that she has a girlfriend, “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Braunwyn Windham-Burke revealed that she would be “heartbroken” if her husband left with another woman.
Last month, the 43-year-old TV star appeared during an interview with GLAAD. At the time, she also revealed that she started dating a 28-year-old woman named Kris. However, the mother of seven explained that her husband, Sean Burke, is supportive and they are working on what to do with their 20-year marriage in light of her revelation.
The star conducted a question and answer session on Saturday in her Instagram story, where she was asked about her wedding. She revealed that the two want to remain married, but acknowledged that divorce may be in the cards. In response to another question about Sean moving on with another woman, Braunwyn admitted that he would be “heartbroken” if that happened. Sean, who was sitting next to her during questions and answers, noted that he is likely to go out with other people, but is not sure when.
“Yes, it’s kind of boring because it’s hard to find out,” he said of the situation with his wife’s new relationship.

It didn’t take long for Braunwyn’s followers to accuse her of being selfish, preventing her husband from doing exactly what she did. The star noted that she is really being unfair, but explained that this is why they are doing therapy together.

“We are working on it. We cannot find out on our own. This is very … This is difficult and we are solving it,” she explained.
However, she also noted that she is not preventing Sean from doing anything or forcing him to do anything he doesn’t want to do. Although they are unique, the two are trying to manage the family situation with transparency and honesty.

“I don’t own Sean,” she said in response to a question. “I thought, ‘Go do what you want. Sean wants to stay here. He wants to be with the children. We’re a family, so I’m not doing any of that, that’s where we are now. ”
The pair has been married for two decades and share sons Bella, 20, Rowan, 18, Jacob, 15, twins Caden and Curran, 7, Koa, 4, and Hazel, 2.
During the interview she left, the reality show star recognized her 20-year-old husband and explained that she loves him even though she has never been attracted to him or to another man.

“I love Sean. I love him very much, he is my person, he is my family. But I am not attracted to men and I never was,” she said.

On Instagram, Sean showed his support for his wife. “I love you. I’m proud of you. And I support you. Always,” he wrote in his Instagram story.
