Brandon Marshall has the solution for everyone Deshaun Watsonwoes with Texans – saying TMZ Sports EVERYTHING can be solved by forcing an exchange to New York !!!
“The New York Jets are the perfect landing spot for Deshaun Watson,” said the former NFL star receiver.
As for the reason … Marshall – who played two years of his NFL career with NYJ – says it is simple, the team can offer whatever he wants.
“The salary cap, we have about $ 68, $ 69 million available,” says Marshall. “Who do you want?!”
The 36-year-old actor – STAR on HBO’s “Inside the NFL” program and founder of Athlete’s House – says the Jets would be willing to buy any free agent, including the former Bears star Allen Robinson, to make everything work.
In fact, Marshall said the NY bosses would even give him a word about who the team should choose !!
“He’s going to change that,” says Marshall. “And, we are waiting for someone like him to lead the way.”
Of course, the Texans would have to be receptive to dismissing Watson first … but all indications are that Watson will hold out if he is not negotiated.
