Bradley Cooper shares a three-year-old daughter with his ex-model Irina Shayk, and although ex-boyfriends have been very quiet about their relationship, Shayk recently talked about what it’s like to raise a child, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, together, but separately. In a new interview with Elle, Shayk was also candid about the kind of father Cooper is. Shayk said Elle that Cooper is “the most amazing father”. When she was asked what it was like to be co-parenting with her ex, she shared her distaste for the term. “I never understood the term co-parenting,” she said. “When I am with my daughter, I am 100 percent mother, and when she is with her father, he is 100 percent her father. Co-parenting is parenting.”

Cooper and Shayk were reportedly seen at their first meeting in April 2015, participating in a production of Finding Neverland On Broadway. In late November 2016, on the same day that Shayk participated in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, news broke that she was pregnant. In mid-December, Shayk was spotted sporting what appeared to be an engagement ring, but the pair never confirmed the engagement. Cooper and Shayk welcomed their daughter on March 21, 2017 and, in early June 2019, reports that the couple broke up began to circulate. While there is no news from tabloids about breaking up with celebrities, Shayk said he likes to keep this part of his life as narrow as possible. “My previous relationship is something that belongs to me and is private,” said Shayk Elle. “It’s just a piece of my inner self that I don’t want to reveal.”
Also, when it comes to tabloids, Shayk doesn’t care much about their coverage. “I don’t read what’s out there. Honestly, I’m very busy raising a child. If they want to write articles [about me], they are doing their job. I’m focusing on my life and my friends. The rest is just noise, “she said. While Shayk said that she and Cooper share the responsibility for raising their daughter, she admitted that the idea of being a single mother can be daunting. “Sometimes, when I say to myself, ‘Wow, I’m a single mom’, it can seem a little scary. But it’s doable, and I think women can really handle a lot of things,” said Shayk to British Vogue in a January interview. “I never had a male figure who came into my life and took care of me. “Life after Bradley is definitely reflective, and I think that in all good relationships you bring out your best and your worst – it’s just the nature of a human being,” said Shayk Vogue. “Two great people don’t have to make a good couple. I think we were very lucky to experience what we live with each other. Life without B is new ground.” Shayk went on to say that she has a new love in her life, her daughter.
It seems that the same goes for Cooper. My mom is going to be 80 and has a colostomy bag, so I can’t let anyone in. And I can’t leave the house because, if she gets it, it’s over, “said Cooper, referring to COVID.
