At the top of the bracket and at the top of the Big Ten, Ohio State and Illinois were the winners in the semifinals of the conference tournament. Illini passed through Michigan for third place on the top row of the bracket.
Ohio State will still be runner-up, even if they beat Illini on Sunday, but it can still be decided on Sunday what place the Buckeyes will get on that line. Alabama is also runner-up and will play for the SEC Tournament Championship on Sunday.

Georgetown slaughtered Creighton 73-48 to win the Big East championship and the automatic offer for that league. The Hoyas would not enter the field any other way. To make room for them, Drake had to move.
Not to be outdone, Oregon State also stole an offer by beating Colorado 70-68 to win the Pac-12 title. Beavers join the Hoyas like 12 seeds in the key. The state of Utah, losing to the state of San Diego in the Mountain West title game, was pulled from the field to make way for the state of Oregon.
It may not be over. Cincinnati is on deck while the Bearcats face Houston for the American Athletic Conference title on Sunday. As it stands now, the state of Colorado must be rooting for cougars a lot.
Georgia Tech won its first ACC tournament title since 1993 and is now in the middle of the bracket in an 8-9 game.
In addition, Hartford won the Eastern American title over UMass-Lowell on Saturday morning to win the Hawks for the first time in an NCAA tournament.
Five more seedlings lost in their conference tournaments today, bringing the total to 19 who failed to win their conference titles. This is just 31 conferences. The only seed heads in conference tournaments that will play tomorrow are Alabama and St. Bonaventure.
