Bow Wow is in bad shape after having performed a big show on Friday night in Houston amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
The 33-year-old rapper managed to fill a nightclub full of people who were seen without a mask in cramped rooms to celebrate promoter Larry Morrow’s showCompletely black birthday weekend. ‘
When images from the Clé nightclub flooded social media, Twitter users had a lot to say, prompting Bow Wow to respond before deleting all of his tweets.
This came just days after Texas became the second state to file two million COVID-19 cases, after California. Houston currently has a positivity rate of 20%, with a more contagious strain being discovered in recent days.

What pandemic ?: Bow Wow, 33, was dragged to Twitter for hosting a crowded nightclub in Houston amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Social media makes fun of those who risk everything to see the old-fashioned rapper
The rapper – who has tried to rename himself in recent years as Shad Moss – was seen performing with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 in hand while crowds of Texas residents attended the event.
The supposed weekend event also featured rapper Meek Mill with Trey Songz and Fabolous also scheduled to perform.
For many online, the only thing more savage than his blatant contempt for COVID-19 was the fact that so many people risked everything to see him play 2005 hits.
Twitter users talked about it as they dragged those who were desperate enough to see the rapper somewhat old-fashioned, and even Zach Braff got in on the fun.

Appear: the rapper seemed to find nothing wrong with the risky performance while rapping without a mask and drinking from a bottle of Don Julio 1942

Crowd control: the shocking images show hundreds of people – many without masks – showing up at the crowded nightclub to see him play hits from 2005

Careless: people seemed to be on top of each other while drinking and dancing all night

Risking everything: the rapper made the club jump because many seemed anxious to leave the house at all costs
One user replied to a tweet that said, ‘Bow Wow packed the club in Houston’ and wrote: This is the only time Bow Wow can package the club ‘, when the low blows started.
Another wrote, ‘Are you risking your lives for … BOW WOW?’, As Zach Braff continued, ‘I thought about it and decided that I am not willing to die for Bow Wow.’
The tweets kept coming when someone posted a photo of the Grim Reaper and wrote, ‘Covid joining Bow Wow on stage …’
A headline from the Complex said that Bow Wow was being ‘roasted’ when a user turned it over and said it was the ‘crowd’ that should be ‘roasted’ to ‘watch the Bow Wow concert in 2021.’
Another shared a photo of Squidward holding a blank list and wrote: ‘All the reasons to go to see the wow arch in 2021’

Packaged: ‘This is the only time our club can pack,’ wrote one user

Surprised: users were shocked that so many were willing to risk themselves and others to see everyone’s Bow Wow

I’m fine: the Garden State actor got in on the fun when he said, ‘I’m not willing to die for Bow Wow’

Dead man walking: tweets were anything but kind, as people criticized the rapper for hosting any type of large gathering

Burned: social media can’t help but laugh at the fact that so many people have appeared

That’s not it: a popular rapper when he was previously “Lil Bow Wow”, the artist who now calls himself Shad Moss is hardly a favorite of the public
In October, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order allowing venues to host indoor events with up to 75% capacity, with tables for a maximum of 10 people.
Houston Chief Medical Officer David Persse outlined security protocols when it came to special events, which included six feet of physical distance, wearing a mask, checking the temperature and appropriate wristband once guests were marked as free from symptoms.
Spire nightclub owners, who also own the Cle concert hall on Saturday, were attacked by a Lil Baby show in late November after a video appeared shoulder to shoulder without masks.

Open for business: In an October executive order, Texas Governor Abbott said the venues were allowed to host indoor events with a capacity of up to 75%, although Cle owners were criticized for a Lil Baby concert at his club brother in late November
An operator responded to the situation by text message, telling ABC 13:
“We were below our legal occupation. Every night we try to keep people socially apart. As soon as Lil Baby (the main attraction on Wednesday night) started to perform, people got up and ran to the front area, so we had to interrupt the show. ‘
The rapper who gained fame as ‘Lil Bow Wow’ in the early 2000s at the tender age of 13, has lost a lot of credibility as an artist, with many of the tweets acknowledging that he is practically irrelevant in the music space.
After waking up with headlines about his performance, the rapper turned to Twitter to try to defend himself, although he quickly deleted them on Saturday.
At 2:30 pm he wrote: ‘I just woke up … aww God. Here we go, ‘with the laughing and crying emoji.

Long weekend: Morrow’s weekend event should also feature Fabulous and Trey Songz
He went on to say, ‘Man, I’ve been having parties all year. I wore my mask at the club. I can’t host with this thing on. ‘
The Atlanta resident tried to add that he only removed the mask when he approached the microphone, while adding ‘Keep the disinfectant on me at all times’.
One user tried to defend the rapper and said, ‘We are getting tired of these greedy bulls, people need and want to leave the house’, to which Bow Wow replied ‘agreed’.
He tried to abstain from any wrongdoing, as he was quick to point out that ‘Texas is open’, as well as Atlanta. “I can’t help it, I live in a city where we’ve been open since last spring.”

Without mask: ‘I used my mask at the club. I can’t host with this thing on, ‘he tweeted, adding that Texas was open for business
