Boston Celtics receives Orlando Magic’s Evan Fournier to choose

The Boston Celtics are finalizing a deal to acquire Orlando Magic’s owner, Evan Fournier, for two choices in the second round before Thursday’s negotiation deadline, ESPN sources said Adrian Wojnarowski.

Magic has already switched Nikola Vucevic and now Fournier, and they have interesting offers for Aaron Gordon. The Celtics are rumored to be in Gordon.

Orlando will gather significant assets on Thursday and have young players Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz under a long-term contract.

Fournier, 28, averages 19.7 points and 3.7 assists per game this season. He is trying to get the best result of his career from 7.2 3 points per contest and making 38.8% of them.

In his nine-year career, he averages 14.4 points per game. He gives the Celtics a solid off-goal goal option.
