Bose headphones keep you safe and don’t stick to your ear

  • Bose Sport Open headphones leave the ear canal wide open, so you can hear what’s around you at all times.
  • The headphones are IPX4 rated and compatible with Bluetooth 5.1.
  • They are available now for $ 199.95.

Bose Sport Open headphones take a sharp turn from the company’s typical noise cancellation offers. These open earphones sit gently on top of your ear and allow outside noise to enter. Some listeners may find this counterintuitive, but being aware of the environment is absolutely critical for outdoor sports athletes.

These true wireless headsets don’t use bone conduction technology as we’ve seen from the famous audio company Aftershokz. Instead, the drivers emit sound directly from the headphones and the waves are channeled to the ear canal. Bose promises that audio playback will only be heard by the listener, even when the volume outputs are high.

These open earphones are water resistant, as indicated by the IPX4 rating. Each hook holds the headset in place so that it is attached to the back of the ear. Like Bose Sport Earbuds and Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, Sport Open Earbuds use Bluetooth 5.1 firmware. Each headset has a single button for controlling playback and accessing the voice assistant. You can also control the headset in the Bose Music application.

Bose Sport Open headphones are available to order in the United States for $ 199.95. Bose will start selling the headset in mid-January, and black is currently the only color option.
