Booker said at a press conference Friday he contacted White House officials and business leaders about the effort. The stimulus package, which Biden sanctioned on Thursday, temporarily raises the Child Tax Credit to up to $ 3,600 per child for children under six and $ 3,000 for children under 6 to 17, and makes them available in increments monthly.
