the Sims 4 it may be a life simulation game, but it looks really weird. Sims can work as accountants, be devoured by a cow plant, date the Grim Reaper and become a Star Wars character. One of the strangest additions to the game lately is Bonehilda, a long-standing legacy character. The latest Stuff Pack has a paranormal theme, and players are tuning into the afterlife so they can hang out with the best skeleton maid of all games.
Bonehilda is scary (she is a skeleton and a constant reminder of the inevitable skeleton war) and extremely useful. She plays the role of butler or nanny, taking care of the Sim children and cleaning the house. It goes back to the original The Sims and yours Makin ‘Magic 2003 expansion pack. Since then, it has appeared in The sims 3 and now The Sims 4 (For some reason, it continues the tradition of previous games not to do laundry, but this is highly identifiable.)
There are only two disadvantages to this domestic helper. One is that human employees are terrified Bonehilda and tend to flee the property. It is disappointing that there is no solidarity there, but it is understandable. The other unfortunate thing is an inheritance from previous games: Bonehilda cannot hold any liquid she drinks, since she has no stomach, so they fall to the floor. At least it will end up cleaning, so that is considered.
It is even possible to date Bonehilda and WooHoo with her. Some players are rushing to summon Bonehilda by mysterious and supernatural means and then courting her as soon as possible so they can replace their Sim’s boring and normal romance options with a skeletal maid. A ritual even allows you to take the form of Bonehilda! The only thing better than a Bonehilda is two Boneshilda.
If fans take Bonehilda to The Sims 4, there is a frightening surprise waiting for them: a human version of Bonehilda, which is intriguing. Hilda – or Meathilda? – it’s a new thing for players to solve and dress up, and an inspiration for fan content.
Ultimately, Bonehilda is a small addition to the Sims 4, especially compared to recent expansions with new neighborhoods, universities and construction features. But these little appearances of beloved characters and stories of long-running soap operas spread across the mundane of everyday life, bring The Sims to life. Or, in this case, undead.
