Bomb Rush Cyberfunk inspired by the Jet Set radio announced for 2022

Pump Run Cyberfunkthe elegant, Jet Set RadioThe action-graffiti game influenced by developer Team Reptile will arrive in 2022 for “all relevant platforms”. (This definitely includes Steam.) A new trailer for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk released on Wednesday, it shows that people with access to relevant platforms should be enthusiastic, especially if they like Dreamcast era looks.

Team Reptile describes its new game as offering “1 second per second of highly advanced funk style”. Players will create a personalized cipher made up of thick and colorful polygons and will “dance, paint, cheat, face the police and claim the extrusions and cavities of a sprawling metropolis in the alternative future”.

“You will find a lot of weirdos,” promises Team Reptile.

As I heard in today’s trailer, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk will feature new songs by the composer Hideki Naganuma, the composer behind Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Futureiconic soundtracks from.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was first revealed in 2020 and was originally planned to be released this year.
