COLOMBIA, SC —- No. 20 South Carolina softball Mackenzie Boesel’s hitting the bottom of the third broke the school doubles record in a career, with the Gamecocks dropping 3-2 to Arkansas number 19 on Sunday at the Carolina Softball Stadium in Beckham Field. Double was 59 from Boeselº and tied the game 2-2 before the Razorbacks finally sealed the end of the series.

Arkansas (20-2, 3-0 SEC) used two home runs, an explosion of two runs at the top of the first and a solo home run at the top of the fourth, to ensure victory.
Kelsey Oh (1-4, 0-2) led to defeat in the circle. Jenna Bloom (4-1, 1-0) won the victory.
Aaliyah White, Boesel, Kassidy Krupit and Katie Prebble recorded Carolina’s four hits in the afternoon.
