Body of Missing Woman from Sinead Lyons, Massachusetts, Found in Lake New Hampshire

The remains of a missing woman in Massachusetts were found in a New Hampshire lake, according to local authorities.

Sinead Lyons, 41, a resident of Lowell, but originally from Ireland, has not been seen since March 12, when she was seen walking her dog along Lake Ossipee, according to a spokesman for Fish and Game of New. Hampshire.

The New Hampshire State Police said in a statement on Friday that tips from the public had led search teams to his remains.

Two boats and divers recovered them on Friday afternoon, Captain Mike Eastman said in a statement.

Eastman told the Manchester-based WMUR that she probably fell on the ice and fell into the icy water near where Bear River flows into the lake.

Authorities are asking people to beware of icy bodies of water. The sad discovery comes a week after another woman’s remains were taken from a river about 60 miles away in Lincoln.
