Blue Ivy dances just like her mother in new video

From Oprah magazine

Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated daughter Blue Ivy Carter turned nine on January 7 and, over the weekend, her grandmother Tina Lawson shared a rare new clip of Blue showing off her dancing skills. Blue appears dancing to Ciara’s “Gimmie Dat” in the clip. And, of course, the girl who has been essentially a training pop star since she was 3 has an incredible sense of rhythm. Just watch your movement:

“Thi[s] it’s Blue, but I swear it looks like Solange is dancing at that age ❤️, “Lawson subtitles the video, comparing Blue to his aunt Solange, Beyoncé’s younger sister, who is also a renowned musician.

Dancing is not Blue’s only talent. She is also a talented makeup artist, as her grandmother has proven on her Instagram before. In the fall, Lawson showed how Blue does costume makeup. “My Blue is a great makeup artist! She made me grandma’s skeleton !! ❤️❤️” wrote Lawson.

Lawson talked about how talented Blue was at seven, making cat eyes “perfect” at the time. “I bought so many makeup kits for Blue, much to her father’s dismay!” Lawson said Entertainment Tonight at BeautyCon Festival LA in August 2017. “But it’s just for fun. We have fun!”

Blue is “quite a makeup artist,” continued Lawson. Especially with eye makeup, “she puts stones and does all these chic things. She can make a perfect cat’s eye. She is a little artist”.

As drawn as Blue is to dance, sing and do makeup, Lawson said in November 2018 that Blue has not committed to following in her mother’s footsteps and becoming a professional artist.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Lawson admitted that Blue has been performing “since birth” because “how could I be in this family and not sing?” Still, “[she] has not yet decided ”whether she will enter the business. She was taking dance lessons then.
