BlizzConline, the virtual replacement for BlizzCon, is fast approaching and fans are preparing for any news planned for the Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft and Overwatch franchises. It looks like fans will explore the Diablo scene a little more through a one-piece pen and paper game, run by Critical roleMatthew Mercer – who also does the voice of Jesse McCree in Overwatch.
The table will sit Critical role players Liam O’Brien and Laura Bailey, who also happen to be two voice actors who worked on World of Warcraft, like Illidan Stormrage and Jaina Proudmoore, respectively. The cast will be completed by Mica Burton and Carlos Luna.
Critical roleDiablo’s one-shot will begin at 2:05 pm PT on Saturday, February 20, and players will have to navigate the world of Sanctuary. We can even learn something new about Diablo 4, the next chapter in the action RPG franchise.
Diablo 4 was first announced in 2019 at BlizzCon, with Lilith appearing as the big bad in the game. Of course, Sanctuary is large enough that there are plenty of catacombs, dungeons and levels from Hell to explore that don’t overlap with the main games.
