BlizzConline 2021 lineup: Diablo 4, World of Warcraft and Overwatch 2

Blizzard Entertainment released this year’s BlizzCon schedule – an online-only event called BlizzConline – showing what fans can expect from the two-day digital show. While the BlizzConline 2021 lineup doesn’t offer much detail, it seems that the World of Warcraft and Diablo franchises will be the main focus of the event.

BlizzConline will begin on Friday, February 19, at 2 pm PST, with an opening ceremony. According to the schedule, this will take just over an hour. The opening ceremony will be followed by two “What’s Next” panels for World of Warcraft and Diablo. Typically, these panels at BlizzCon provide additional insight into the announcements made during the show’s opening ceremonies.

Although we do not expect further expansion to World of Warcraft, given that Shadowlands just arrived in November, details about a future content patch may be revealed. The other Blizzard version of its massive online multiplayer game, World of Warcraft Classic, can also be a focus. Blizzard recently interviewed players about their interest in bringing the Burning Crusade expansion to Classic.

As for Diablo, we know that Diablo 4 is in progress, how is it Diablo Immortal, the mobile version of Blizzard’s action RPG. A remake or remastering of Diablo 2 it’s also reportedly underway at Blizzard, courtesy of Vicarious Visions, the developer behind the recent remakes of Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.

Diablo and World of Warcraft will also be the subject of “Deep Dive” and question and answer panels for developers at BlizzConline.

Blizzard’s other properties (Overwatch, Hearthstone and StarCraft) appear to have a lesser presence on the show. Overwatch 2 will have a backstage view on Friday, and Hearthstone will be the subject of a “Deep Dive” that will offer “a more detailed view of what is to come” for the competitive card game in 2021.

Activision Blizzard has set expectations for Diablo 4 and Overwatch twoThe launch of. dates earlier this month during an investor presentation, when it was confirmed that none of the bonds should arrive before 2022.

BlizzConline will take place from the 19th to the 20th of February and will be free to watch.
