Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton announced their involvement in social networks

Blake Shelton is already many things, including a Grammy-nominated singer and a trainer on NBC’s “The Voice”. He plans to add “stepfather” to his list of titles.
In an interview for KFROG’s “The Ride with Kimo & Heather”, the country singer, who is engaged to Gwen Stefani, spoke about his relationship with his fiancee’s children and shared his feelings about becoming his stepfather.
“There is definitely nothing easy about that,” said Shelton, whose fiancee shares sons Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6, with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
The singer also has a stepfather and calls him “one of my heroes”.
“I love my stepfather and I admired him, and he is like a father to me, so I have a good inspiration in my life to know how to do this and the type of stepfather I want to be,” he said.
Although Shelton said he takes responsibility for being a “very serious” father figure, he added that he also enjoys the experience.
“I have fun with that too, I’m not going to lie,” he said. “I don’t take it so seriously that I am not enjoying this moment, because I really am, especially now that we have been in it for five years. I can’t imagine my life without these children now.”
This is not the first time Shelton has been sincere about becoming a model. During a “Today” interview in July 2020, Hoda Kotb asked him about Stefani’s Instagram post on Father’s Day, in which she thanked Shelton for “helping me raise these boys !!”
“It’s a scary time for me, because it’s one thing to be with the kids all the time and be their friend,” he said. “But then you have to consider after a while, that they are starting to hear things you say, and there is a lot of responsibility that comes with that, which is new to me.”
Shelton tweeted the news of her engagement to Stefani in October 2020, writing: “Hey @gwenstefani, thanks for saving my 2020 … And the rest of my life … I love you. I heard a YES!” During a “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” interview in December, Stefani said the wedding plans are still in the air because of COVID-19.

“Even when you reduce to just the family, there are still a lot of people for COVID, so let’s see what happens in the coming months,” she said.
The two have been a couple for about five years, staying together after Shelton divorced Miranda Lambert. This will be Shelton’s third wedding. His first wife was Kaynette Williams.

Shelton and Stefani met while working on NBC’s “The Voice”. In a 2017 interview on NBC’s “Today”, Shelton acknowledged that many fans were perplexed when they became a couple.
“In defense of the people, I think it is so difficult for people to understand why Gwen would like to be with me,” he said. “I don’t blame them.”
