Blake Griffin will be free to sign with the Nets or other interested NBA team after agreeing to a purchase contract with the Detroit Pistons.
Nets are “considered [the] leaders ”to add Griffin, Shams Charania from The Athletic tweeted, adding “interested rival teams are waiting for Griffin to choose [Brooklyn] as a title favorite for the chance to win a championship. “
