Birdgirl: Adult Swim Previews Spinoff by Harvey Birdman

Cartoon Network’s dawn programming block, Adult Swim, took the first look at Birdgirl, the spinoff of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law.

Adult Swim took the first look of her Harvey Birdman: Lawyer spinoff series, Birdgirl, starring Paget Brewster.

The clip shows Birdgirl arriving for work after inheriting her father’s company. After making a very noisy entrance while trying to swing out of the streets, Birdgirl meets the company secretary as she maneuvers her way to the door and office not so carefully. Unfortunately, Birdgirl finds out that the CEO’s office door is locked and can only be unlocked by the secretary.

This leads to an exchange of ideas between the pair, while Birdgirl tries to convince the secretary that she is, in fact, the CEO. Determined to open the door herself, Birdgirl tries to take a flying kick. However, just before Birdgirl makes contact with the door, the secretary presses a button to make the door open, causing Birdgirl to burst through. “Thanks for unlocking it,” says Birdgirl, to which the secretary replies, “Well, you’re the CEO.”

The synopsis of Birdgirl can be found below.

In Birdgirl, Judy Ken Sebben, in her 30s, inherits her father’s company, which would be great if that company weren’t built around the most socially irresponsible products and practices of the 20th century that, on a good day , involve the deforestation of redwood forests or the operation of profitable children’s hospitals. From the corridors of the company’s headquarters, she rides the cluttered Birdteam with no overtime. Together, they try to undo all the terribly dangerous decisions of the previous generation or contain the destruction of one of their own products “to save the world” that went wrong.

Executive production by Erik Richter and Christina Miller with animation by Awesome, Inc., Birdgirl starring Paget Brewster, Rob Delaney, Sonia Denis, Kether Donohue, John Doman, Negin Farsad, Tony Hale and Lorelei Ramirez. The half-hour animated comedy series debuts on Sunday, April 4 at midnight (ET / PT) on Adult Swim.
