Bills’ Efe Obada promising ‘all the smoke’ for dolphins

Want to build a fan base in record time? Just promise to “bring it” to one of your new division rivals right after signing with the team.

New Buffalo Bills striker Efe Obada did just that on Wednesday, when he told a fan in Miami, UK, that the Dolphins would receive “all the smoke” in 2021. He also added the perfect GIF to his response to really take control over the top.

Although Obada’s response was a joke, Bills fans loved the tweet. One fan mentioned that he bought his shirt just for the tweet, while others noted that Obada would fit the Bills perfectly.

Obada, 28, joins Bills after four seasons with the Carolina Panthers. The defensive striker is coming out of a season in which he recorded career records in sacks (5.5), quarterback strikes (15) and quarterback pressures (21). The defensive striker was probably an intriguing option for Bills due to his ability to play on or off the edge of the defensive line.

Although Obada turns 29 next month, his best football may still be in front of him. Obada, originally part of the NFL’s International Pathway Program, only started playing football at age 22.
