A new film about the life of legendary singer Billie Holiday is coming to Hulu. United States x Billie Holiday it is directed by Lee Daniels and stars R&B singer Andra Day in the title role. According to a press release, the film “unapologetically presents the icon’s complicated and irrepressible life”. The film features a screenplay by Suzan-Lori Parks and also stars Trevante Rhodes, Natasha Lyonne, Garrett Hedlund, Miss Lawrence and others. Watch the trailer below.
