Becoming blond is not as easy as it looks.
On Wednesday, Billie Elish shocked fans by revealing that she dyed her platinum blonde hair with neon green and black, marking the beginning of a new era in her life and music.
Although the superfans knew that a change was coming – and suspected that the singer of “Therefore, I Am”, 19, was wearing a wig for a while – she went to TikTok on Wednesday to reveal the wig, sharing in the comments who is wearing the wig for “like 2 months”.
The video now has more than five million likes and 150,000 comments. “What the hell in Hannah Montana,” wrote one person. “That’s why I have problems with confidence,” commented another.
Eilish’s hairstylist, Lissa Renn, also posted a video (already deleted) showing how she lit up the superstar’s hair, a meticulous process that took six weeks to complete.
In December, Eilish announced plans to change its signature look and start “a new era” after the release of its documentary, “Billie Eilish: The World A Little Blurry”.
