Over the years, Billie Eilish has been upfront about her struggles with body image and how to deal with the internet by commenting on her appearance.
Now, Eilish is opening up even more about her body image struggles that started long before she was the world’s spotlight. In addition, she is revealing why her loved ones were more concerned with This one race last year than her.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Eilish really leaves many things exposed. In particular, the Grammy-winning singer talks even more about her struggles with body image and the embarrassing comments that emerged last year.
In October, paparazzi took pictures of the “Therefore I Am” singer in a tank top and shorts. The images eventually spread online and led to criticism from body shamers. Eilish soon responded to criticism in a cunning video showing everything about her Grammy Award.

It turns out that Eilish’s close friends and loved ones were more concerned with criticism than she was. Because? Well, it all had to do with his self-mutilation story.

“I think the people around me were more concerned with this than I was because the reason I cut myself was because of my body,” she says. Vanity Fair. “To be honest with you, I only started wearing baggy clothes because of my body.”
For Eilish, she is happy that the incident happened now, and not when she was younger.
“I was very, very happy, mainly, to be in this place in my life, because if it had happened three years ago, when I was in the middle of my horrible bodily relationship – or dancing a lot, five years ago, I wasn’t really eating, ”she continues. “I was, like, starving.”
In the interview, she also remembers having resorted to using diet pills when she was just 12 years old.

“I remember taking a pill that told me it would make me lose weight and only made me wet the bed – when I was 12, ” she says. “It’s crazy. I can’t believe it, as I – wow. Yes. I thought I would be the one to deal with my hatred for my body, but I think the internet hates my body too. So this is great. “
In December, Eilish revealed how she turned that T-shirt photo into something positive for fans. While receiving unwanted criticism has been difficult, she hopes fans will see that everyone has different body shapes and that everyone should be accepted.
“There is a picture of me running from my car to my brother’s front door like a 110 degree day in a sleeveless shirt,” she said. “And people were like, ‘Damn, Billie got fat!’ And I’m like, ‘No, this is what I look like, you’ve never seen it before!’… I love having kids bonding with me and telling me that I make them feel comfortable in their bodies. If I can do something, I want to do it. “

At the beginning of last year, Eilish shared a short video about body positivity during his WHEN WE ALL SLEEP, WHERE ARE WE GOING? Tour. Then, in May, Eilish released the full video for fans to watch. In it, Eilish takes off her baggy clothes while delivering a moving message about the body’s positivity. She also talks about the double standards she deals with every day.

Elsewhere in Vanity Fair interview, Eilish talks about his next album. She reveals that there is not a single thing that she would change in the next LP.
“[The album] I feel exactly how I want it, ”she says. “There is no song, or part of a song, that I would like it to be this or that.”
Fans had another sample of their new song last week. After almost two years of waiting, Eilish’s collaboration with Rosalía “Lo Vas A Olvidar” has finally arrived alongside an exciting music video.
“Lo Vas A Olvidar” marks the first new song to arrive from Eilish in 2021. Last year, she released a carefree video for “Therefore I Am” which followed “No Time To Die” and “my future”.
Her collaboration with Rosalía is ushering in what could be a great year for Eilish. In December, Eilish apparently confirmed that his next musical era is officially underway. In addition, your next documentary The world is a little out of focus is scheduled to arrive on February 26th. Last month, viewers saw what they can expect from the documentary in its first trailer.

Eilish spent much of 2020 working on her next album with her brother FINNEAS. She previously revealed that she has no plans to release the LP during the coronavirus pandemic. However, she shared that fans shouldn’t expect to hear any music about the COVID-19 crisis on the new album.
“It’s not like we’re making quarantined songs, we just have a different mentality than we would be otherwise,” she said. “And this is how it is. It’s the butterfly effect, it’s like you didn’t do it three years ago, maybe you weren’t doing it three years later. That’s how it is. At the same time, this is the biggest break I’ve ever had in my life, first of all. And especially since it all started five years ago. “
Although her next album has no release date yet, Eilish is eager for fans to finally hear it when the time is right.
“I am very, very happy that we were able to do the things that we are doing,” she said. “And I can’t wait for you to hear that shit. I can’t wait for the world to hear. I am very excited and hopeful about the future. “
