Billie Eilish loses 100,000 followers on Instagram after viral challenge posts and calls them ‘babies’

Billie Eilish is rolling out laughing after she apparently lost about 100,000 followers on Instagram when she participated in the latest viral social media trend and seemed to offend some people in the process.

The singer “Bad Guy”, 18, was one of the last celebrities to participate in the challenge “Publish a photo of” on Instagram. After fans asked the Grammy winner to post a picture of her mobile device’s lock screen on Monday, Eilish happily complied. The result was some breast designs that Eilish shared in her Instagram story.

Eilish shared the first post in the story, a screenshot of her iPhone’s lock screen, which shows a watercolor painting of two naked women – a color palette of greens, yellows and reds bringing the work to life.

Meanwhile, a second fan request asked Eilish to post a photo of “a drawing you are really proud of” and, again, the ukulele strummer shared another image that revealed a series of sketches Eilish had drawn from various parts of female anatomy.

“Those probably lol I love breasts,” Eilish captioned the NSFW (Not Safe For Work) story posts that were published on Cosmopolitan on Tuesday.

However, after his charade, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Eilish’s follower count mysteriously declined immediately after clicking on submit artwork.

The user added in the post caption, “PLS SHE LOST 100K IN HALF HOUR – IS MY IG IS SHINING?”

Eilish also seemed to notice the change pointed out by her fans when she issued a replica of her Instagram story that almost sent a message to the world that maybe some were a little sensitive to her spicy designs.

“LMFAOO y’all baby smh,” wrote Eilish in response along with two skull emojis.

Eilish has spoken more than frankly on the subject of body positivity since it came on the scene as one of the biggest attractions of pop music.

Often recognized for wearing a stylish baggy outfit at red carpet events and awards, Eilish opened Vanity Fair last month about the reaction she receives on a consistent basis for her wardrobe choices.

“There’s a picture of me running from my car to my brother’s front door like a 110 degree day in a sleeveless shirt,” she told the publication. “And people were like, ‘Damn, Billie got fat!’ And I’m like, ‘No, that’s how I look, you just never saw it before!’ So this is the most current, but whatever. “

The “Therefore I Am” singer has been applauded by her fan base in the past for her impressive retaliation skills and honesty about how to struggle with bodily self-confidence. She said it is perhaps one of the most important parts of her communication with fans.
