Billie Eilish she just debuted her platinum blonde hair, but apparently she’s been wearing lighter strands for much longer than she looked.
On March 17, the “when the party is over” singer unveiled her new, Debbie Harry-weird hair style on Instagram, along with the caption, “pinch me”. Fans flooded the comments section of the typically dark star with praise, however, this photo did not tell the whole story about Billie’s hair transformation.
On a post already deleted screenshot by fans on social media, Billie’s hairdresser Lissa Renn took to Instagram to talk about how she took Billie from black hair with green roots to this platinum blonde look, writing: “The process is real when you’re doing it right. 6 weeks to get all the black out of the ends without damaging along with her following my strict hair care regime. In fact, we love all the stages of color lifting, but the end result [fire emoji.]”
The problem? Billie’s hair was standard black and green at the Grammy on March 14 … which means the A little blurry world the guy was wearing a wig at the event, and for weeks before.
