Days after AppleTV’s The World a Little Blurry aired at the end of last month, he responded to criticism about how he treated Eilish and his five-and-a-half-year age gap.

“There are always two sides to a situation,” he wrote in his Instagram story about his distant and sometimes contemptuous behavior.

‘People don’t realize that I am dealing with my brother’s death. Especially when it was fresh.

He continued: ‘Sometimes you have to be alone to deal with the situation,’ he continued.

‘Sometimes people disagree and don’t want the same things from each other. It is up to you to understand that there are several points of view for a situation.

‘Anyone who knows me knows where my heart is. I get a smile on my face even when I’m suffering. We got over the pain. [No love is ever lost.] But I refuse to be beaten. ‘

Last week, fans of the star had a raw view of his personal life and the creative process behind his debut album on the new documentary Apple TV +, released on Friday.

The doc has followed you since the last part of the recording of – When All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? – for the 2020 Grammy, where he took home five trophies from six nominations at the tender age of 18.

The teenager, who has largely kept her love life private, talks about her relationship with 7: AMP, whom she affectionately calls ‘Q.’

At the beginning of the document, she can be heard telling Q that she loves him over the phone, but when the end is approaching, Eilish breaks up with him.

As more things are revealed, Eilish can be seen having a hard time finding Q while she is on the road on tour, and again when she returns home to Los Angeles, where he also resides.

She would break up with him during a conversation before taking the stage for a show at Pier 17 in New York.

‘I just wasn’t happy. I didn’t want the same things he wanted and I don’t think that’s fair to him, ‘said the singer for Everything I Wanted.

‘I don’t think you should be in a super excited relationship with things that the other person couldn’t care less about.

Trying to be honest with herself, Eilish elaborated on how she didn’t think the state of her romance was ‘fair’ to either of them.

“There was no effort. I was literally like, man, you don’t have enough love to love yourself, so you can’t love me, man. And you do not. [laughs] You think you know. ‘

With some time to reflect on the end of the relationship, she admitted that she still loved Q.

‘I didn’t forget him, I didn’t find anyone. I never stopped having love for him, ‘she explained.

‘I just spent time away from him a little bit and thought,’ Wow, I’m missing out a lot because I’m worried about you all the time and I don’t want what you want and you don’t want what I want. ‘ I don’t want to fix it. I can’t fix it. I tried.’

There is a scene in the doc where Eilish forgets the lyrics to one of his songs during a concert at Coachella and calls Q, apparently asking for some support. Before hanging up, she throws the phone to the floor in frustration, as reported by People.

Q would break his hand after hitting the wall, and Eilish reveals to a friend, ‘I’m trying to convince you to go to therapy. He’s so self-destructive. ‘

In another scene, she revealed that Q gave her nothing on Valentine’s Day when asked how they celebrated her lover’s holiday.

Eilish rose to fame quickly after her release song, Ocean Eyes, in 2015, when she was just 13 years old.

Four years later, when we all fall asleep, where are we going? debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and became one of the best-selling albums of 2019.
