Billie Eilish and Rosalia share new ‘HBO’s Euphoria’ song: Listen

Rosalía and Billie Eilish have been two of the most exciting and inventive forces in pop music in recent years, so the idea of them coming together in one song is tempting. The conversation about a duet has been spreading for more than a year; in April, Rosalía told Zane Lowe that she was just waiting for Eilish’s vocal tracks. Apparently, Eilish finally sent them because the song was over, and now it’s out.

Entitled “Lo Vas A Olvidar” – which translates as “You Will Forget It” – the song was conceived for the successful HBO series Euphoria, for which Zendaya recently won an Emmy for his portrayal of an addicted teenager. The sinister, minimal track features Eilish singing in Spanish and is built around the hook “No olvidar / Can you let it go?” It is scheduled to appear in a new episode called “Part 2: Jules” which opens this Sunday, January 24th, but first you can see it through the official video clip, directed by Nabil.
