Bill fans donate money to Lamar Jackson’s charity after Ravens QB’s injury | Bleachers report

Buffalo Bills fans have a long tradition of being a charity group, and that trend continued on Saturday after the team won the divisional round over the Baltimore Ravens.

Fans gathered for Louisville’s “Blessings in a Backpack” charity on Saturday night in honor of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who left in the second half of the game with a concussion.

Blessings in a backpack usually provide food for children on the weekend who are on the free and reduced meal program during the week. However, the program increased its efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, as many children in the program are forced to miss out on these meals because they are not attending classroom school.

Jackson has had a long relationship with the organization since his days in Louisville.
