A major leak from Super Smash Bros Ultimate that seemed to confirm Pyra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as DLC fighter 9 may have revealed the remaining characters for Fighters Pass Volume 2.
It seems like not a day goes by without a “leak” from Smash Ultimate and, although many of these leaks end up being made by bored fans who want to trick people, sometimes a leak comes with some additional legitimacy.
One from January 8 is gaining popularity online for apparently confirming Pyra as DLC 9 and the remaining fighters as well. Pyra, of course, was only revealed on Nintendo Direct in February, so this leak may have some truth.
According to the leak, Nintendo is planning to hold a three-hour concert in 2022, where a symphony orchestra will play versions of songs that appear on Smash Ultimate.

Pyra leaked in a January forum post.
“This event will be held in Japan after the Second Fighters Pass is completed and they are taking all necessary precautions to make the event happen,” wrote the leak. “They are going to broadcast the event live on Youtube for everyone around the world to see and, eventually, Nintendo will distribute a soundtrack disc on the My Nintendo service.”
They continued to list all the songs Nintendo is considering for the show and there are some huge additions that seem to leak potential fighters if that is true.
Most notably, right after Sephiroth’s One-Winged Angel theme, the hitter lists Counterattack from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as the next song. This song was used in the Pyra reveal trailer, suggesting it will be included in the DLC content, still scheduled for March.

A concert leak seems crazy. It can be true?
Following this track, “N. Sanity Beach ”is next on the list, which would mean that Crash Bandicoot would be the next DLC fighter.
Crash has been an incredibly popular candidate for Smash Ultimate, so the fact that he might end up on Fighters Pass Volume 2 is big business.
The final track for a new fighter listed by the leaker is “Proof of a Hero”, which is from the Monster Hunter series. Monster Hunter is another character that fans are curious to see in Smash and while some reports claim it is unlikely, this leak suggests the opposite.

Crash in Smash? It was time.
Of course, take this with a grain of salt. The fact that this leak casually mentions N. Sanity Beach without discussing Crash also seems a bit bizarre, especially if someone really has that information.
Fortunately, we may not have much time to see whether this leak is true or not. It is possible that Monster Hunter Mii fighters from the previous game could be announced during the full Pyra presentation, as many Miis from Smash 4 have returned to Ultimate.

Crash or Monster Hunter can be Challenger Pack 10.
If they do not return, the chances of these characters being promoted to full fighters are much more likely.
We will have to see what the future holds and whether Crash fans can finally fulfill their wish for the bandicoot to appear in Smash.
