Big Hit Entertainment, YG Entertainment, Universal Music Groupand Kiswe Mobile will be launching a new live streaming platform ‘VenewLive‘together.
Big Hit Entertainment announced on February 10 that YG Entertainment and Universal Music Group decided to invest in KBYK Live, which is a joint venture of Big Hit and Kiswe Mobile. Big Hit and Kiswe signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in May 2020 and established their joint venture KBYK Live in September of the same year. Since then, KBYK Live has used its live streaming platform ‘VenewLive’ for highly successful artists such as BTS‘online concerts’Bang Bang Con: The Live‘and’BTS MAP OF SOUL IN: E‘.
YG and UMG plan to grow the ‘VenewLive’ platform as a platform for artists around the world together with KBYK Live through their joint investments. ‘VenewLive’ plans to showcase various elements of digital performance, such as live chat and buying official merchandise tailored for each artist and his fans in the future.
