President Joe Biden received low marks from some voters for responses given to reporters during his presidency’s first formal press conference.
Researcher Lee Carter joined “Fox & Friends” to reveal voters’ responses to the president’s comments on the 2024 election, Republican state election legislation and other issues.

While Democratic voters rated him an “A”, Biden received “F” s from Republican and independent voters for saying he “had no idea if there will be a Republican Party” in 2024, after being asked if he believed he would face Donald Trump again in his candidacy for reelection.
“It really ignited his message of unity,” said Carter. “He says he is a president for unity, but he still says, ‘I don’t even know if there is a Republican Party’. He didn’t like Donald Trump, he laughed at him and I think – it came to the front, like people – how he really feels about the other side … it didn’t go well for him. “
The president’s comment on the Republican Party state voting legislation that made “Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle” also fell on Carter’s screen with an “F” from Republicans and “D” from independents.
“A lot of people just didn’t understand what he was saying,” said Carter. “What does that mean? Like, ‘Jim Eagle, who?’ … It didn’t make sense to people. ”

Carter concluded that Biden’s general “antagonistic” tone towards Republicans is leading Republican Party voters to reject the president’s message of uniting the country.
“They don’t believe he knows Republicans,” said Carter. “They don’t believe he is reaching out.”
