Biden made comments in Atlanta condemning violence and discrimination against the Asian American community after eight people, six of whom were Asian, were shot and killed Tuesday night. “This is a democracy. The right to vote is fundamental. The fact that there was a record turnout in America in the last elections in the midst of a pandemic should be something we celebrate, we do not attack,” said Biden in written comments.

And this country will be grateful for this for a long time.”
Biden won the state of Georgia and his 16 electoral votes by almost 12,000 votes in November, becoming a state that Trump won in 2016 by more than 100,000 votes.
