Before the sentence was handed down against Brandon Clark – who pleaded guilty to Devins’ murder – his younger sister Olivia, his mother Kim and his grandfather, Frank Williams, provided statements about the victim’s impact.
“A lot of random people defined their profile pictures as the photo of my sister’s death and went to my page knowing that I would undoubtedly see it,” said Olivia Devins through tears. “The image, to this day, continues to be sent to me, but now I have all my social media accounts deleted.”
Kim Devins, Bianca’s mother, begged the judge to feel Clark in prison “for the rest of his life”.
“We seek to end the crime that took our beautiful angel from us, respectfully asking the court … to ensure that Brandon Clark remains in prison for the rest of his life, so that he cannot hurt anyone and inflict that terrible pain on any other family. “, she said.
Bianca’s grandfather told Clark that if he ever becomes eligible and seeks parole, “you can be sure that our family will represent Bianca and ask the review board to consider it.”
Devins, who had recently graduated from high school, accumulated a large following on social media on various platforms before his death.
She was especially well known in the online gaming community. And it was on a social player app, Discord, where Clark posted photos of Devins’ body, police said.
