Beverly Hills man offers $ 50,000 reward for Richard Mille watch

The jeweler whose six-digit Richard Mille watch was stolen during a daylight robbery in Beverly Hills is offering a $ 50,000 reward for returning the watch, according to a new report.

Shay Belhassen hopes to recover his rare $ 500,000 rose gold watch before it hits the market – although he doubts it will be resold quickly thanks to the publicity that the blatant theft obtained.

“It is a very rare watch, so whoever receives the offer will know that stolen material is being offered,” he told the Los Angeles Times.

Last week, Belhassen told The Post that he was sitting with a client at the famous celebrity location Il Pastaio on Thursday afternoon, when three armed robbers came after him and acted to steal the celebrity-loved watch – an RM 11- 03 Pink gold flyback Chronograph.

He grabbed the gun and threw the suspects to the ground, but one of them still got away with the expensive piece, he said.

Four shots were fired during the fight – and one of the slugs hit a woman in the leg while she was dining with her boyfriend.

Beverly Hills police said they believed the suspects were targeting Belhassen because of the luxury accessory.

The jeweler told the LA Times that he is angry that similar crimes have occurred in the area in recent weeks, and few have received as much attention as this one.

Thefts during which shots were fired have increased in the area – and many suspects target luxury watches in the area near Wilshire, according to the newspaper.
