Bethenny Frankel on Sunday stole Meghan Markle for her impending TV reveal – dismissing the duchess as a “rather unknown actress” who now earns “hundreds of millions” of dollars thanks to her short stint as a senior royalty.
The star of “The Real Housewives of New York City” – who once dated Markle’s ex-husband, producer Trevor Engelson – gave a speech on Twitter just hours before Markle’s interview in his “almost impossible to survive” period like royalty.
“Cry me a river,” Frankel tweeted to his 1.5 million followers, soon bringing to the fore the Duchess’s past life as a model of “Deal or No Deal” portfolio.
“The situation of being a game show host, quite an unknown actress, of suffering in a palace, with tiaras and 7-figure weddings for TWO YEARS to be a household name w @Oprah on speed dial, getting 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in business with the media, ”added Frankel.
But after tearing Markle apart, Frankel gave a totally different message to the Duchess’s husband, Prince Harry, despite his involvement in the same chat with Oprah Winfrey.
“I 100 give Harry a break,”She wrote, without elaboration.
The star of the reality show – who knows about public feuds and scandals – has twisted the royal couple’s suggestions that they want a peaceful life, out of the limelight.
“This is not the way to generate less media and cannot be archived under the pretext of wanting privacy to avoid repeating previous events,” she wrote of the eagerly awaited interview, scheduled to air at 8 pm on Sunday.
Frankel reminded critics who “hate me for saying that” that she never shied away from giving her opinions.
Her too retweeted a British follower who responded to her topic by writing: “Finally. Bethenny says what all of us in the UK are thinking. “
Some followers, however, suggested that Frankel was being a hypocrite, sharing magazine covers where she complained about her “struggles” and “divorce hell” after finding fame on reality shows.
“So strange that Meghan wanted to tell her story. It is really unheard of for a woman to go to the press to tell her side, ”wrote a New Jersey follower named Jill, in a sarcastic response to Frankel.
