Activision and Treyarch announced a week of free access to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War content.
The new week of free access will begin on Thursday, February 25, and end on Thursday, March 4.
The week of free access will include access to MP, including the new Apocalypse map and Gun Game mode, along with the new Outbreak Zombies mode for all players.
The week of free access will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
How to download
Players on PlayStation and Xbox can visit the console store to see a free trial option to download Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Search for ‘Cold War Free Trial’ in your console store to see it. The free trial is a separate download from Warzone.
For players on Battle.net for PC, there will be an option to “PLAY FOR FREE” in Battle.net Client when you are loaded into the Black Ops Cold War tab. This will start the download and allow you to start accessing the free trial content .

Outbreak
After discovering the largest Dark Aether outbreak zone in Russia so far, Requiem needs elite operators to assist in his quest to understand the true power of the Dark Aether dimension.
This sets the stage for Outbreak, an entirely new squad-based zombie experience set in huge game spaces in the Ural Mountains. As Requiem agents, your team will explore these expansive landscapes, finding hordes of the undead, hidden loot chests, new enemies, zombie-destroying vehicles and unique world events on your way to your goal. Your squad will have to work together to complete dangerous experiments in the name of Operation Threshold, so decide to exfiltrate the area or move on through a Dark Aether portal for the next adventure to get more rewards … if you can survive.
Onslaught (PlayStation only) *
For those who play on PlayStation, you can also access Onslaught, the fast-paced two-player zombie experience, during Free Access Week.
Defined in Black Ops Cold WarOn multiplayer maps, including the new Apocalypse map introduced in season two, Onslaught will test you and your partner with increasingly difficult bursts of enemies needed to charge a powerful Dark Aether Orb.
Defeat enough Elite enemies and you’ll earn bronze, silver and gold goblets, as well as bragging rights, along with exclusive weapon designs * to use in other online game modes.

Revelation 24/7
Want to try one of Season 2’s top multiplayer offers in a playlist? Look no further than Apocalypse 24/7, a collection of modes on the new Apocalypse map.
Right in the heart of the Golden Triangle, this jungle cartel base features a temple fortress and many stilt buildings to chase enemies through and under. Built for fast-paced play, expect the action in Apocalypse to be as hot as the sun shining in this clearing in the jungles of Laos.
The Apocalypse 24/7 playlist includes Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint modes, a great mix of respawn-enabled modes for those looking to explore this new location.
Weapon game
Another highlight of Season Two Open Access Week, the Gun Game is a classic comeback mode that tests Operators on their general weapon skills in a hectic wrestling environment.
Advance through a predetermined set of 20 weapons, starting with a pistol for all types of weapons until you reach the knife, and be sure to avoid melee attacks and final moves to avoid backward rotation. Do the job with a final melee attack, and you will win the match and some bragging rights yet.

Get into frantic 2v2 action in Shooting projects, which features some of the newest weapon designs for season two in random loads, and 3v3 Face each other playlist, where you and two other squadmates can face off against enemy trios in smaller-scale versions of Team Deathmatch, Domination and Kill Confirmed on the game’s hottest maps.
