Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Responded to Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Twitter on Monday, saying the U.S. needs to focus on residents’ needs before focusing on space exploration.
The independent senator said that this included implementing a more progressive tax system.
Monday’s Sanders tweet continued an exchange of posts from the duo, which seemed to have started when Musk responded to a Sanders tweet last week that stated that Musk and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos had more wealth than the others.
