Oscar Valdez had a solid turn and may have won the Knockout of the Year on Saturday night, striking Miguel Berchelt at the end of the 10th round to complete an almost perfect performance and take the 130-pound WBC title.

Valdez (29-0, 23 KO) affirmed his claim as the best 130-pound fighter in the sport with this victory, crushing and dominating a fighter who was on a tremendous roll in the division for four years.
He has now won titles in two divisions, is still undefeated, and is really one of the nicest guys in the sport too, so this is an easy win for anyone to celebrate.
