Bengals sent important coaches for South Carolina’s professional day to Jaycee Horn

Cincinnati Bengals doesn’t just have prospects for an offensive line ahead of the 2021 draft of the NFL.

Despite heavy spending on that side of the ball for two free and counting agencies, Bengals is looking for more defenders before the draft.

Case in point, the Bengals personally trained Jaycee Horn on South Carolina’s professional day, for Jim Nagy of the Senior Bowl.

Horn, son of former professional player Joe Horn, is typically seen as a player in the middle of the first round and performed on the professional day, standing 1.80 m tall and 205 pounds, with 4.39 on the 40-yard dash.

With so many updates to the secondary in the past two years, it’s hard to imagine the Bengal weapon for Horn in the early rounds. But doing due diligence is important – and it may indicate that the team still considers the premium position a long-term need.

In another part of the draft, the Bengals had a major presence on the professional days of the State of Florida and Alabama, with Frank Pollack also personally training a certain offensive attacker from the USC.
